Happy (Belated) Halloween

First off, sorry about not posting for months! I’ve been rather stuck in a rut with little inspiration (and no job). But times are changing, and to kick it off, I have something completely new.

Some of you may be aware of Konachan (How could you not be by now?), and her official mascot Shirakawa Kona. Unfortunately, commissions are expensive so there is little artwork of her beyond the original work from some time ago. At the time it was drawn it wasn’t even Kona, but rather an expressions practice for the artist (fkey). I liked the other candidate better.. maybe we’ll still get to see her.

Anyway, here is Shirakawa Kona, dressed as a witch for Halloween passed.

Year of the Dragon

Okay, so I’m a few days late. I have reason, I’ve been ill. So without further delay… Happy Chinese New Year.

Despite many mistaking the Calendar new year for the change to dragon the actual dates of the year of the Dragon is from January 23rd 2012 until February 9th 2013… assuming we survive December 21st. Shall we see who we have to celebrate with?

Touhou: Hakurei Reimu

Surprise! I went rather long before ending up doing a Touhou, but then it has no official anime. Just loads of dj and masses upon masses of fan art. Oh and a few fan made stories and something called Memories of Phantasm.

But you aren’t here for the English Sub of that, you are here for Reimu. So here she is…

I used the roof scene to get ratios right, but beyond that a lot of things have been changed and not just the obvious ones like hair colour, Touhou 13 style hair ribbon and a ponytail (Because I like long hair!). The eyes for one had to be done from scratch along with the ponytail.
